Abstract
Students in open-pedagogical courses are asked to engage in learning in ways that are unfamiliar and possibly uncomfortable. Metaliteracy provides a flexible framework that scaffolds learning in such settings, emphasizing active, reflective learner roles. In this workshop, you will learn about open pedagogy and metaliteracy, and have time to work on how you might use metaliteracy to scaffold student learning.
