Abstract
This thesis uses 36.1 fb-1 of proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector situated at the Large Hadron Collider at sqrt(s) = 13 TeV to measure the associated production of Z bosons with b-quark jets. The differential cross-sections for events containing a Z boson with 1 and 2 additional b-quark-jets are measured and compared with leading and next-to-leading order theoretical predictions.
