Hermite Polynomials and Sylvester Type Determinants

Abstract

In this paper, we first recall Hermite polynomials, a particular family of orthogonal polynomials. We then evaluate their recurrence relations in terms of Sylvester type determinants of a certain tridiagonal matrix.
