Supported by state-of-the-art teaching laboratories and research facilities, UAlbany's Chemistry Department faculty are engaged in instruction and research spanning all areas of chemistry, with special focuses on forensic chemistry, RNAs, medicinal and synthetic chemistry, material sciences, biochemistry, and biophysics.
